nothing works after install dasy mod

i installed arma 2 (steam) and played singelplayer/multiplayer for hours without an error.
i instelled arma 2 oa (steam), played singelplayer/multiplayer for hours without error.
i installed arma 2 british armed forces (steam), played and finished witout error.
i installed arme 2 private military company (steam), played and finished without error.

after that i installed arma 2 dayz mod (steam), try to play....
error: Addon dayz_anim requires addon CA_ComunityConfigurationProject_E

then i started arma 2 oa again....
error: Addon dayz:amin requires CA_Dubbing_Counterattack
try again with new error....
Cannot load world ca\chernarus\chernarus.wrp

 

back to desktop

cant start arma 2 oa anymore.....

now i wanna know if updating can fix the problems and start DayZcommander.
update arma 2 to 112555 beta.
error wrong CD key but patch updated from 1.62 to 1.63

dayz commander up to date, arma 2 up to date.
then i download and installed dayz epoch....
start epoch, connect to server, got mission files and back to desktop with error:
include file z\addons\dayz_code\system\ca\funktions\init.sqf not found

 

im already in contact with bohemia but none solution they offered solveld the problem.

maybe one of u can help me. in english or german both is ok for me.

 

fact is. i played mods like epoch bevor, but since they released the patch 1.63... everything sucks.

That's the server-admins fault for not updating / or running the wrong version / or the wrong missionfile. Make sure to join servers taht are running the exact same version than you are.

Always update using Steam these days, the system DayZCommander has in palce is obsolete.

1. Rightclick on ARMA 2 in your Steam-List and go to properties --> Local Files --> Browse Local Files
2. In the ARMA 2 folder copy the contents of the "AddOns"-Folder
3. Rightlick on ARMA 2: Operation Arrowhead in your Steam-List and go to properties --> Local Files --> Browse Local Files
4. Paste the files inside "Common"-Folder. That's it. You're set.

i recived this from bohemia and will follow this first.

 

To resolve your problem:

At first, delete everything you downloaded in relation to the game. That
means to delete all additional content, software, utilities, addons,
mods, mod launchers. Search your downloads for the installers for this
software and content and delete them too and if there is any game
related folder in your documents, delete that folder as well. Please do
not install anything unless you are directly instructed to until the
issue is solved.

After that please start a clean reinstall of Arma 2 CO:

1. Uninstall OA (right-click on the game in Steam Library and select
'delete local content'), do the same for Arma 2.

2. Delete "<steam>/steamapps/common/arma 2" and
"<steam>/steamapps/common/arma 2 operation arrowhead" folders and Arma
2's shortcuts on your desktop (if any). Search your computer for all
folders containing ARMA 2 in their names and delete them. Then reboot
your computer.

3. Open Start menu and type this directly into the menu (in Windows XP,
you will have to click on "Run" first): regedit

4. Press Enter.

5. In the regedit window, click on HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE.

6. Press CTRL+F to bring up search.

7. Look for "Bohemia Interactive" (without the quotes).

8. Delete all entries with "Bohemia Interactive" in their names

9. Exit the regedit, reboot PC.

10. Run Steam as Administrator (right-click on the Steam icon and click
on "Run As Administrator") and make sure that you are able to view all
your ARMA 2 products CD-keys.

11. Install Arma 2.

12. Run Arma 2 once.

13. Install Operation Arrowhead.

14. Run Operation Arrowhead.

You shouldn't have any problems and should have both OA and Arma 2
content available, at this point you have the highest official version
of the game, in case you have BAF or PMC, install them now and run ARMA
2 OA once. If you have ACR, please follow this guide:

Any installations related to the game and not listed above are at your
own risk and we may not be able to provide you with any support in case
of modified installation. (including any additional content, Betapatch,
mods, launchers and utilities)

If you insist on BetaPatch installation, to get the latest ARMA 2
Operation Arrowhead BetaPatch version do this:

1] Open you Steam library
2] Right mouse button click on "ARMA 2 Operation Arrowhead"
3] Select properties
4] Switch to BETAS card
5] In the dropdown menu, select "beta -"
6] Click on close and wait until Steam updates the game
 

i hope this information will help otherwise i will follow ure solution. if urs work i will give this information to bohemia. maybe its a helpfull info for them to solve this problems in a propper way.

i finfally solved all of the problems.

 

1st i made a clean uninstall of arma2 and arma2 oa. (incl. delete ALL regestry entrys, even firewall. search for Arma2 and Bohemia it will show all)

then i installed arma2, start and begin singleplayer mission.

after that arma2 oa, did the same, start play. checked the extensions, dayz allready green.

then i installed my DLC (BAF and PMC) , I DID NOT INSTALL the dayz mod!!!!!!

i checked all dlc´s. all games are playable without error.

at last i installed dayzcommander, install ONLY epoch, my favorite. update as usual and IT WORKS fine. without error, copying stuff in other folders... nothing must be done.

 

i´m very thankfull of all the hints i got here. that helped me to solve the problems. maybe this will help others too. my guess:

the dayZ mod is the troublemaker. so if u have dayz green in extensions after install arma2 oa, its totally ok.

but if u install dayz mod "again" the trouble begins.

1. installed arma3, play, works

2. installed dayz standalone, play, works

3. installed arma2, play, works

4. installed arma2 oa, play, works

I am having issues joining servers. I first thought this would be a DayZ issue but it seems I jumped the gun and went for DayZ first. I knew I would like DayZ but seeing how Arma2 is an upgraded version of FlashPoint - Dragon Rising for Xbox I was interested in trying the game itself. So I downloaded everything needed and went for the cake trying to play DayZ with installed components from DayZ Commander. 

 

I only have Arma2 and Arma2 CO and DayZ Mod from Steam. DayZ Commander was outsourced....

@LazlowRave, yes there are a few changes since i posted this. and many of these changes are ..... good ;)

 

if u have steam-arma try this:

install your arma stuff vanilla stile.

u have to start and play both games, only a few sec.

then google for dayzlauncher. install it instead of dayzcommander.

every map u need, every mod u wish will automaticly installed in a proper way.

if u need a good, friendly server to play with basebuilding, ai missions, events, lotz of fun, friendly and adult admins just PM me.
