Dumb question. How do you go to third person?

Tittle pretty much says it, I can't figure out of to go in to third person shooter I thought it was the enter button but that doesn't do anything.

Some servers have the difficulty set to "Veteran" which doesn't allow people to go into third person. (I believe this was originally to force tank drivers and the like to turn out so they could see better, like irl, rather than going third person to see where they're going.)

This is incorrect. I don't know why people keep spreading this false info.

Whether the server is recruit' date=' regular or veteran is irrelevant. Server admin can turn third person view on and off in all of these difficulty settings. In ideal case, third person view would be something that is always mentioned in the server name. Unfortunately at the moment third person view setting is not a mandatory element in the DayZ server naming format. More info and discussion about that in here: Server Naming
