Trust me, after 10 years, their focus would also be elsewhere and not on the forum, because you need to work efficiently. And of course, there is Discord... I have been in the game business for over 10 years, and if I've learned something, it's that the more you play the game, the more your feedback is affected by personal opinion. Which is not always the best.
But since you have asked, I do play, not as often as I would like, as I have two small kids who have become my priority during my personal time. If I play DayZ, I know it's not going to take an hour; it's usually at least 3, so it's slightly time-consuming. And I also spend a large amount of time on our test servers. Am I a good player? Not really. I am a very casual player, but I play with friends or even my husband when I get the chance, and when I do, I truly enjoy it.

Hi, this is not going to be done. There are several reasons for this, ranging from technical to practical concerns. Primarily, the focus is on the future of the game rather than its past.

ever since about February I noticed daily lows of about 20,000 players, as well as a sharper increase and decrease during evening and late night hours. For a long time before this the player counts never dipped below 30,000 and the daily ups and downs of playercount numbers were much smoother and less dramatic.  this is a link to the dayz steamcharts https://steamcharts.com/app/221100#7d my question is what could have happened in February 2023 to cause such an abrupt shift in playerbase trends?    I started playing again on pc recently and for a whole year before i took a break 3 months ago I never encountered one cheater. but in the last two weeks being back on the game i have encountered 3 obvious cheaters, My theory is that dayz has seen a surge in cheating recently. this is what im talking about. i understand its "not their job" but if they had the passion for it they would. it wasn't deans or matt lightfoots "job" to hop on the forums in the mod days and talk to everyone. they wanted to do it. they were obsessed and extremely passionate about the game so they wanted to talk about and think about ideas for the game. and it certainly wasn THEIR job was it? they didnt have to do that. but they wanted to because they were passionate about the game.

as for "playing the game". do you play the game kyiara? at all? how much? is it your "favorite" game?

Sounds like something with pc. Game starts, puts pressure on components immediately and bsod happens. Maybe memory. Some tests would be useful to confirm my theory.

As a community manager can you give an official opinion on if it is possible or not to support .62 community servers? or if its just not going to be done. Thanks.

Hello. First of all, I´m playing DayZ for a lot years now and I love this game.
I was playing today without any problems on a modded server via DZSA launcher. I closed the game to play CS2 with my friends, and after 1 hour I went to play DayZ again, but for some reason I started the game, mouse cursor was loading. But nothing was loading. Icon of DayZ was on the taskbar, but nothing started... And after 30 seconds I got blue screen. Computer restarted without any problems, and I tried to run it a few more times but without any input on starting the game, it always ended in blue screen. When I tried to click with my mouse while loading, game just crashed. I tried to reinstall whole game, removed all the mods, removed DZSA launcher, I even deleted all my DayZ files from the whole computer. Reinstalled again, verified files, tried to run official server in the original launcher. This time game started and gave me black screen and then it just crashed. I don´t know what to do now, I tried some thing that I saw on the internet, but my game is just not starting. And I´m desperate 😞 Computer specs:  Processor: 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-11600KF @ 3.90GHz   3.91 GHz GPU: ASUS GeForce RTX 3060 Ti 8GB GDDR6 RAM: 16GB DDR4 3200MHz Kingston FURY Beast Storage: 1TB SSD PCIe NVMe Samsung 980 Windows 11 Everything is updated (windows, drivers) I would be glad for any help.

Are there any melee only servers on console (Playstation)? Is it even possible to create? Would be a blast to play with no firearms. Just imagine..
