Long story short, our clan was just having a battle against some guys in Berezino, and suddenly one of my clan buddies says his character is going crazy- on its own stood up, reloaded, and took aim at one of the others and just shot them, right in the head. Then suddenly another one says the same thing is happening to him, but he was able to jerk his gun away from the person so he wouldn't get shot. Seriously creepy, literally raping your mouse. Anyone had this happen to them? If not, DEVS!!!! Something to look into...............

I didn't think I was the only one to have thought of it xD Monolith - Yeah I agree about the complication of items etc, they would have to set up the ability to be able to turn items like water bottles or knives around, and maybe have knife sheaths that stop the knife from stabbing you if you run around with it in your pocket or something

I thought this was a bit obvious, so did a quick search, but it seems nobody has posted something like this, correct me if I'm wrong. Got a ammo box the other day, and it made me think how one earth I was able to put it into my trousers pockets (pants, whatever). Obviously, it wouldn't fit into jeans, as they are 2 slot, but with cargo pants etc which are 4 slot, and the 6 slot ones, just seemed a bit unrealistic that you could fit a massive ammo box, somehow into your trouser pockets. So this made me think... Clothing should have the same amount of slots as it does now, I'm not disputing that, but these slots should be separate. Simple example: Blue jeans have 2 slots, I am assuming for each pocket (not including back pockets (might be something to think about)), however, you can't fit a Gun Cleaning Kit box across both of these pockets, as that is physically impossible and probably quite painful. It would make much more sense to have two slots, but each is independent, so you can only fit 1 slot items in each. Complex example: Combat vests have lots of individual slots, as they have different sized pouches for items such as magazines, radios, water reservoirs etc, and so this should be addressed, with arranged slots for each pouch. Below Ive done some quick photoshops to demonstrate what I mean: This one shows the main clothing and combat vest. As you can see, slots are arranged into pockets/pouches depending on how big and many there are, I've even included a special "knife slot" on the vest. As you can see, I've added some slots for the pants for example, to make up for the fourth pocket. With jeans, I think it would be best to still keep it as two slots for each pocket, but have them separated. With this one, I've shown the bag arrangement, with the main compartment having the largest amount of slots, then two side pouches, and finally the front pouch. This is exactly the same amount of slots (30) as the current system is, none have been removed or added. I hope this idea hasn't already been thought of, and the dev team find it insightful if they haven't already planned it, and of course fair enough if they have! Thanks, Jaggardos

I was derping around yesterday, when da guys over teamspeak suddenly said "HEY TOM (me), come on server *******, we've found these tents with tons of sh*t in them!!!!!! So I switched servers, the ran for half an hour to the map cood they told me, and sure enough, there were 3 tents packed full of as50s, NVG, rangefinders, coyotes backpacks, l85s among other thing. This raised some questions with me: How the hell did my mates find these tents when they were pretty much off the map away from nothing? Massive luck? is that what we go by? AND, how do people FIND all this stuff? I mean, ive server switched countless times in the military baracks, and NEVER found anything cooler than an m249. Do people write done when servers restart of something? All the end game items ive ever had have been off people ive killed, ive NEVER found anything like that thats spawned.

Im trying to play on a clan private server which is running 1.7.2.3 and no beta. My normal dayz will work obviously cos everythings up to date and im running the beta. But when I run through arma 2 launcher with dayz as the addon etc and beta unticked, it doesnt work.

Im trying to run the game without the beta, but It wont work. Ive got arma 2 and OA seperately and im trying to use the Arma 2 launcher to get onto a server which doesnt work when the beta is used. Ive got it working before but then I tried again today and it didnt load again. Ive got beta unticked and the shortcut doesnt have beta extensions in it but it still launches. wtf?

Same, I know that if you dc in a chopper, then the chopper crashes, you'll just spawn on the ground below.

I would but in cherno my fps is ~15fps on full graphics. Unless we're happy with low res!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Went onto a server and got immediatly teleported to the roof of the internation hotel in Cherno. Still have all my stuff. All I can do now is snipe until I run out of food, unless there is an amazing way of surviving the fall?

Just logged into a high pop server into that small warehouse with the balcony on the inside going all around. Looked around, zombies spawned "ah, time to relax, nobody around". When suddenly I hear this girls voice behind me saying "I know something yoouuu doonntt..." in a singing style. So I turn around and there's this player running towards me round the balcony. Now, knowing what happens in this situation, and the fact the player hasn't already said "Friendly", I immediately pressed Esc BUT FOUND THE ABORT BUTTON WAS BLANKED OUT AND DIDNT WORK!!!!!!!!! Literally shat myself at the point and ctrl+alt+deleted. This is my first hacker encounter and I thought Id share this very brief story.
