Feedback "wait for host"

My server is active by dayzcommander and the control panel but also as we try to get the Feedback appears and wait for host can not login.

someone over this with this problem?

ja reiciei to test the server but still the same thing

check your RPT log for an error, or if you can paste it into here

I thought Taviana.com was going to update and fix the issue with the map? Seemed like that Hicks guy was working on it?

Any possibility of getting the C130 plane to work on Chenarus?

I have been asked by my playerbase to post a few requests for features on the control panel:

- A repair/refuel all vehicle option. Maybe broken down into Repair, Refuel, or Both.

- A way to modify Helicopter loot tables, or some other way of introducing more weapons into the game.

- Building placement (I know you're working on it)

Another odd request we've been getting is: Is there a way to make it 24/7 night time, with a full moon and no clouds? A few members have been asking me to put it through as a request, but I don't even know if it's possible.

Hello folks, Hicks here from DayZTaviana.com. It appears I'm a little late to the party on this thread, so I'll hit the important notes out the gate.

Vilayer does not own, not do they have any control over DayZTaviana.com. My choice of web host does not indicate anything more than my distaste with the original web host I went with.

Lastly, I'll sort through this thread in the morning for any Taviana specific issues that have been raised, but in the mean time I encourage you to head over to development.dayztaviana.com and engage the team on the issue. Open a bug, make a design change request, or just track the progress of the upcoming 2.0 update.

1. You can manually refuel vehicles at the moment using the database, even though it wouldn't be as easy a control panel fix it is possible to do.

2. When we have FTP access we should be able to change all the helicopter loot tables, as I want this to be able to add RMOD weapons.

3. You can add buildings by using the 3D editor and using the following tool to import them into the database. http://dayz.wofjwof.com/map.php

The tool importer is broken at present and will miss out parts of walls and other items, it did work perfectly though about a week ago so hopefully it is fixed again very soon.

I have almost finished the vehicles for the EU version, made it a little different so planes are in hangers and choppers are harder to get by being on the smaller islands. Most of the land vehicles were find, but moved a few spawn locations of vehicles into garages attached to houses. Also added Police cars to random spawn as you would expect to see a few around

any tutorial on the map editing and uploading. And what kind of 3D editor? The mission editor in arma seems to be 2D

The best thing to do is watch a couple of videos on Youtube on how to use the editor that is what I done.

But also as stated the website used to change the files to .sql so you can import them in the database is currently producing loads of errors, so you can create loads of stuff now just don't import it until the errors are fixed with the website.

If anyone is interested, here are the fixed vehicle sql's i have made for the Taviana EU version.

All vehicles now spawn, planes spawn in hangers and also tweaked the spawn chance on some of these

I have also added Police cars around the towns, as you would expect to see a few. They are packing a shotgun in the back ;-)

Just import them into the relevant locations

Please note: Your instance_vehicle table will more than likely at present, have quite a few vehicles in it that are not correctly supported, meaning they arnt showing in game, or were only compatible with the .com version

So i would delete all the vehicles from there, import my SQL's into the correct locations and then use your spawn button on your dayz.st control panel.

This will then spawn them for you :D

Ive emailed Ersan to see if he wants to use this, but in the meantime anyone who is interested here are the files

C'mon now Tucker, there is no need for the troll bait. I know you've read the announcement post in regards to DayZTaviana.com, and we've had this same discussion on other boards. Nothing good can come from trying to pick a fight with someone on the boards.

We're both Oregonians, we both love DayZ, and we both are passionate about Taviana. We should be able to bridge any issues you have with me and turn something positive out of the whole thing.

i prefere the .eu version of the map but by you making the .com version is screwing it up becuase the bliss guy wont support 2 maps with the same name.

Thanks for the .sql tables and the time you put into making them, will be using them and a few more added spawns for my server :thumbsup:

I have a question if you could answer it?.....How do you refuel on the EU Taviana since it doesn't seem to work by driving up to the gas stations and mouse scrolling like the other version and i have not been able to spawn in refuel trucks. I really don't want to have to only be able to refuel any vehicle with jerry cans :(

For one, because the author of the dayzland.eu version has been telling everyone that nobody is allowed to host it unless they manually run it on a server that they own physically, and this was after a month or two of them not allowing anyone to host it at all... In fact AlexSpain just sent me an e-mail this morning asking to talk, presumably to ask us to stop hosting dayzland.eu again. The dayzland.eu version is surrounded by drama and people trying to use it to gain popularity for their (imo) dumb dayz communities, and squabbling amongst themselves over who 'has permission' to host them so that their community has more signups than the other 20 communities, and frankly 99% of actual dayz players don't give a crap about any of them or even know they exist.

Personally, I appreciate the open and free alternative, even if it isn't as good currently.

I fail to see the difference between offering a service specifically hosting the map, offering an unmanaged dayz server where you have to FTP the files yourself, offering a VPS/dedicated server and requiring you to install a dayz server on it, or hosting your own server and asking for donations for perks like custom starting loadouts or priority slots. Someone somewhere along the line is profiting from it.

I agree with you on this part but still dont give him the right to hack some one else's idea it wrong no matter how you word it or say it

all you need to do to be legal about it is unbrand the servers

we pretty much already rent a managed VDS from you we just dont have root access to and pay someone to upload files for us

I have not "hacked" anything. There is always room for competition, and more than one direction with something. I'm honestly sorry I've upset you so much Tucker, but I still strongly feel that healthy competition and opposing design directions can only serve to refine the Taviana experience.

how is it healthy competition when only your version will be supported by bliss and maybe even Dayz Commander please tell me how this is healthy or even good for the community

lets just forget about the past the .eu server files are out there for people to use .

i guess if bliss would give support to .eu version i wouldnt be complaining so then we as a community would be able to choose what version we want to use

OK Guys - Back to some Dayz.ST server How-To many pages back I got the suggestion to use the Arma 3d editor to add custom buildings etc... WOW how friggen cool is that editor, it's almost funner than the game! lol...

Anyways, now I've got my dayzcustom.chernerus.pbo file.... How do I somehow convert to 2D and then import into my Database?

I've gone to the suggested site http://dayz.wofjwof.com/map.php but it says only mission.biedi is supported...?

Will we lose any data in the database when this map replaces the old chernerus map?

Sorry for the noob questions guys, you're help is appreciated!

Are the starting loadouts working? We set one up last night which started you with an M9 pistol, but now it has defaulted back to: chem lights, hatchet, painkillers, and a bandage.

I am going to change to Taviana, so which version I should use .com or .eu??

I quess a lot of you say that .eu is better but not supported for long?

All this hazzle with Taviana is just so confusing.

Okay I just spoke to AlexSpain (I wish I had talked to him a long time ago) and everything has been cleared up. His English isn't very good so people were misinterpreting what he was saying - apparently he just wants hosting companies to offer Taviana as an OPTION rather than being locked into Taviana after you purchase the server (basically because that would directly be profiting from Taviana rather than hosting servers). This is a confusing limitation but I understand it somewhat. He also showed me a repository where they are actively developing a bliss branch that supports dayzland.eu's version of Taviana.

We will be maintaining our own branch of bliss using changes from bliss mainline and dayzland.eu's version, so both versions will continue to be supported in the future.

He's actually upset that we are hosting dayztaviana.com's version, not his.

As for which version to use, do whatever makes you happy:

dayzland.eu has different skins and support for more custom vehicles (the gunboat PBX and a couple aircraft have removed radar like they should in DayZ) and is based off of dayz 1.7.3 (mostly), it also has its own humanity system that functions properly and has the debug monitor in the top right with stats still.

dayztaviana.com has a clear development plan and seems to be more in tune with people requesting changes and is keeping closer in line with the base DayZ mod.

You could say dayzland.eu is like the fun version and dayztaviana.com is the serious competitive version? I guess?
