Just for reference,I have the following spec and I have been running day Z at about 30 fps on average on max settings, depending on which server I use. And have also had 60 fps on the coast in a UK server.

FX 6100
Crucial Ballistix sport ddr3l 4gbs
VTX3D Radeon HD 7850 2gb, DDR5
CX 600 Corsair PSU
Gigabyte 970A - DS3
2x 160GB Seagate HDD using Raid 0

Including the case, CD drive I spent alittle over £400 and have a playable budget system with ability to upgrade to a Piledriver CPU and add more RAM.

Like I said, this is just for reference. I am not telling you to go out and buy this spec.

I'm also thinking about a laptop. I'd be saving up a thousand for it, with family helping me with the hefty tax. I've looked around, and I've found three choices. The first, is the Alienware M14X. This is the base model, with the GT 650M and i5 3230M. I'm fairly shure this is the laptop Matt Lightfoot was using in the dev blog before the last, so I'm fairly certain I can run it. My next option, the one I like the best, is the Lenovo Ideapad Y500. Its got two GT 650M's SLI'ed, so I'm guessing high settings can be achieved. And it has the same CPU as the M14X, but a higher resolution screen and bigger HDD. But I've heard they get very hot. And last but not least, the ASUS G46VW. Its got a decent GTX 660M and the same CPU as its competitor, putting it in the middle in terms of graphical perfromance. Which is my GUESS. So, can someone enlighten me on which one would be the best(I'm leaning torwards the Lenovo, as its a hundred bucks cheaper than the other two :L)

BeatSTV , I had the 6300 on the list for ages but then I read about the mobo needing flashing to make them work. So it put me off. I simply wanted to get it and put it together for the time being. Also got the mobo that supports up to 32gb ram at 1333 and 1600mhz so plenty room to upgrade.

What mobo did you get to be compatible with the 6300
