Here are just some of the features you'll get out of using it.
- Stay up to date
Be alerted when new versions of DayZ and the ArmA II beta are released. Commander will intelligently locate your game directory and install the updates with a single click. It will never force you to update DayZ or Arma2, you are in complete control of when you want to upgrade.
- Server Filters
Utilize Commander's filters to weed out undesirable servers. Ping, third-person mode, and time of day are all able to be used to narrow down to the perfect server.
- Find your friends
Easily add your friends, then see which servers they're on. It's great for groups that don't have allegiance to a single server and need to coordinate often.
- Favorite Servers
Favorite server functionality that doesn't suck. A separate panel will make joining your favorites faster without having to sift through the entire listing.
- Recent Servers
Can't remember which server you were on earlier today? or last week? Don't worry, all of your recent servers are stored so you'll never forget again.
- Private Server Notes
Want to remember where you put your tent? that GAZ? Or that bus? Keep per-server-notes to remember all of the important stuff.
This is very much a community product, so everyone's requests will weigh in on what gets developed next.
Read the post all about it from yesterday in case you missed it.
Please be aware this launcher was created by a member of the community so the DayZ team cannot help with or be held accountable for any problems caused by its use
