zrea1 0 Posted June 16, 2015 Hey everyone, after a year long hiatus, I decided to try the game out again. When I stopped playing, there were a good amount of zombies. therandomredstone 431 Posted June 16, 2015 -snip- Zombies are in the game. You can find a good 4-8 in bigger cities such as Elektro and Cherno. But in the smaller towns, you'd be lucky (or unlucky) enough to find more than one. The developers are currently working on two main things. 1) The loot table/system - That's a different story 2) Zombies and Server Performance - In the experimental patches before the .57 update, there were an incredible amount of zombies. I'm talking about dozens in bigger cities alone. Airstrips are somethin' else. But with the increase of undead, the server's performance went bonkers. So they are currently fixing the zombies, but they decided not to remove them completely from stable whilst they work on them. Hope this answered your question. Evil Minion 943 Posted June 16, 2015 They are few in numbers and no longer magically aggro on you from far away and out of sight. It's quite possible you went right past some or people other cleared your path before. If you want to see zombies you can shoot a gun (the louder the better) and see if some charge you. Killawife 599 Posted June 16, 2015 Zombies are not respawning, so if somebodys killed a bunch in a town there will be no more zombies there til the server is restarted. Also, Infected, not zombies. But just yesterday I was moving through cherno and as I passed a wall theres a massive grouping of zeds around a dead player just around it. I snuck quietly away. ScipioII 176 Posted June 19, 2015 I spawned near Cherno a few days ago and worked my up north. Very few z's (i's ?) so now I'm used to not looking for nor worrying about them. Last night I was somewhere around Sinistok when 2 of them surprised me. No not surprised.. they scared the living daylights out of me! My guy took a couple of hit's before I recovered. I ran into one of those storage units so I can lock them in but they just stood there,, one ran away. I ran out again gathered them up and back in the storage unit. Same thing.
