So, I'll try to keep this short.At the start of the year I found myself in a new position with lots of extra time to kill and thus I decided to dabble with my creative side while I have such a luxury!I've been playing DayZ since the Arma mod and bought SA at release.. Over this time I've had countless great, frustrating, tense and epic moments as I'm sure most who play this game have experienced in their own way. With said extra time and urge to explore my creative side I decided to start documenting my little adventures with friends I've made in other games from all over Europe.[snip] I will say though, I am aware the videos are some-what long. Most range from 15-25mins which I understand some may not think is a worthy investment of time going in blind and unaware of what the content will be like and for that reason I will be making smaller videos to *hopefully* entice a wider audience.I've been tweaking the format of the uploads to see what works best for me. That goes from the amount of voiceover work to the music I use (although on the music front I'm intending to rotate the music as I've got several artists I like and have listened to over the past while but some of them will clash with some other guys on YouTube which I have watched/still watch, in terms of DayZ YouTubers I've tried my best to make sure it won't clash at all with those).The format will probably continue to change slightly from video to video until I'm settled on something I and the folk watching like (so I don't mind some constructive feedback on that aspect). At time of posting, there are 4 'episodes' up which (I'll link below.. If I can get it working >.>) - Feel free to Like, Comment and Sub if you want to see more. As a final note. As I mentioned, there are 4 'Episodes' done and there are a couple of other random videos but of the 4 official 'Episodes', the 4th one which I released last night is the closest to the quality I want to set although there are a couple of sound issues that I noticed after the upload. It is also the first non-gimmick type video which shows the events of the session in a better fashion without a lot of cut/transition editing! Thanks! The point was only half to advertise but the main point of the post was to defend the length of videos. As someone who enjoys longer gameplay videos, I like it because I don't have to change videos often when they're longer but I know some people are highly skeptical about watching longer content videos if they've no idea what it is about or if they'd like it at all. Like I say, I'm sorry about that and in future I'll just add single episodes with no advertisment (maybe actually just add them all to this post in fact if that's not an issue to make this thread a little more meaningfull than just another advert!)
