warjem 0 Posted February 28, 2015 Hi everyone, I bought and installed DayZ with Steam a few months ago and was able to play with no problem. I just formated computer and try to re-install DayZ with Steam. The download stops all the time, and clicking the "Download now" button starts it a few seconds then download stops immmediately (sometimes without downloading any data). If I directly launch the game from desktop, I get an error message saying "Error with DayZ update (corrupted file). I don't know how to solve this neither find answer on the forum. Someone please help me? Thanks to everyone J First I've heard of it. Go to Dayz properties and delete all local data then try to install again. You can try reinstalling steam. So I uninstalled Steam and try to reinstall, but I get now NSIS Error (Installer integrity chack has failed...) Ok, try installing all available windows updates. install all of them, check again, install, check etc until no updates are available. Uninstall steam if you still have it. Disable antivirus and any firewall you might have.
