Possible Admin Abuse? Wtf! Zombie chases Me for MILES!

I was at the hospital collecting some stuff and on the 3rd floor i hear a zombie, it kept hitting me through the walls, so i ran out and went to another town and kept looking back, and sure enough this same zombie was STILL Chasing me. I must have ran 5 miles before i logged off cuz i figured it was a bug or something

 

it was only me and admin on this server so either admin did this or this zombie was seriously bugged. Chased me up the mountains, etc

 

Really annoying when ur trying to collect stuff and have no way of killing it

Admins have no control over zombies or loot or any ingame content.

 

Zombies have eagle eye vision right now, breaking line of sight with bushes, forests or buildings however worked for me last time i tried it, it just took me more distance to put inbetween me and the Z.

 

Tip: Whenever you see a fence, vault over it while sprinting. Fences are solid for Zombies and they have to go around them, which should give you quite some distance.

Hit "V" while sprinting towards it. You will need to get used to the timing though since it really depends on your connection to the server. ( General advice: always pick the lowest ping server you can get, player input get's processed server side, so the higher the ping, the longer the reaction time ).

I just assumed because each server title has like "Insane loot" "24/7 daytime" etc that Admins can manipulate the game.

They can reset their servers every hour so it always stays on daytime, but they have no control over any ingame mechanic, as i said. Advertising a certain loot situation is against the ToS for server admins, since it's not controlled by the server.

Go easy all its his first (4) posts, alot of things can be misinterpreted when you first play the game.  You die with no answer or have an odd occurrence which you have never experienced so you google it.  First things that start to show up are Dayz admin abuse attacks and hacks from every flicker of light, etc etc which has all come and gone from the mods prime.  JRL1990 listen to Chain he has covered what you need to know,

Whenever I am naked zombies just ignore me. You should try discarding all of your clothing next time.
