Message to hackers from all around the globe! ( No hacking content! )

Regulator Lone, the thing you don't understand that there is absolutely nothing on the planet earth that will stop hackers immediately.

 

If the devs fix the known hacks, the real hackers (not the squeakers that buy hacks and use them) go back to the drawing board and write up some new ones. Those are reintroduced into the stream of users. The devs acquire them, make the appropriate fixes...rinse/repeat until the security is so strong that the hackers can't find a work-around or the work-around takes too much work/resources to accomplish.

 

The only real way to beat the hacks instantly is to shut the game off which isn't a viable option. So when you repeat the same generic reply of what you believe won't work, you are truly wasting your breath. The only thing you, me, or your grandma can do is ignore them like they don't exist...per Dean Halls order who just so happens to know more about this subject than you or anybody else here does.

If hackers forced you out of the mod, you were doing it wrong...end of story. I ran a private hive for 10 months and with active admins we had 3 hackers (that got dealt with) during that time.

Toporek, I'm just going to say it: I am highly suspicious about people posting Oo I met a hacker video as they almost always look like set-up videos. What I'm not suspicious of is watch me kill a hacker video.

 

You got 4 hacker videos which is fueling them whether you want to believe it or not. Maybe next time you run into a hacker, kill his ass and film it. Hope all is well, take care!

I've got to agree with the couple of people who said to ignore them..I know a couple hackers script kiddies myself and one I have to talk out of downloading hacks again almost weekly. They loooove attention, this is what they crave. While obviously the video was done with good intentions, this just increases their likeliness to hack. They're a long ways past the point of "man I really feel bad about doing this." The only thing that will stop hackers script kiddies is time for the dev team to work, and boredom on the hacker's script kiddie's part. If they get no attention out of it, they'll do it a few times and then likely either play the game normally or quit completely.

Well actually he obviously doesn't know, because the link I provided earlier was an investigation into game cheating and the hackers were basically laughing at the anti hacks because they are slow to ban people (like battleye it does it on waves)

They say they have their hacks back and able to bypass the anti cheats in a matter of hours, days at the most

And I was doing it wrong because hackers forced me out of the mod?

Lucky for you I can't post my videos of meeting around 5 hackers every time I played where they would Constantly nuke the servers, take everyone's gear, turn them into wild boars, air strike you, make you dance

Because posting these videos is against the rules,

You were doing it wrong because you should have gotten out of the pub servers when the getting was good. Find a nice private server to play on that had active admins. There were several.

 

It is late and I may be reading this wrong; but by your own account, if hackers dropped by 90% in the mod and you were getting hacked on daily…wouldn't that be saying you were playing on that 10%? If thats the case…how is it not clear you were doing it wrong?

No what I meant was there was a massive decrease in the hackers that managed to do any real damage before we detected them, although the decease was massive I was still being killed in stupid ways at least once a day by hackers

The anti back was detecting those which resulted in a big decease but the admins were still having to keep banning people which just got tedious so they gave up and shut down the server for good because we rarely got to play

Anti cheat detected them, we issued the bans

Although it was effective there was still way too much work involved (for unpaid admins) to keep banning people, every day someone would teleport, anti cheat picked it up and we would ban them

I fail to see how someone could see a system working like that and not think "hey that worked, let's build on that and see if we can make it better"

If I made a game like this,it would be pay monthly to play which would fund the wages of dedicated admins monitoring servers with an alert system if players suspected a hacker, then the admin could come and confirm it and I'd happily pay for a service like that

But that would be a perfect world

1. Read my earlier post where I said that this video wasnt made to prevent people from hacking because it's simply impossible, it was made to let them know ONLY what do we think about them, but if it can fight them at least in 0,01 % then im happy aswell.

 

2. If you consider people as hackers ( or friend of hackers ) only because they upload videos with them... then I have to say "good luck to dayz in the future with audience like this" You think there would be even 1 problem solved on the planet if people wouldnt speak about it? For example: Global warming ; Fighting disease - nah it will go away by itself ; fighting violence towards women and children? - nah a drunk dad will finally stop when he kills them ; impunity of police who abuse their powers. I know there are special authority organs that fight those examples but before they do PEOPLE TALK ABOUT IT, People SPEAK, It goes to TV... Same goes to hackers because it's a DayZ's disease. Sitting quiet and ignoring it is the most retarded thing we can do. But hey! that's just my opinion.

 

3. If you could actually watch my videos instead of only quoting them you would see that in the video called "awkward hackers argue" ( which you quoted ) I killed one hacker. Just like I did in my other videos. I'm always killing them and put it in my videos. In my opinion that's what needs to be done. I'm not asking you to be a fan of me or my videos, the only thing I ask you to do next time is to actually watch the FULL video before you say something about me and be suspecious.
