Smoke Grenade or tear gas

from what i have seen, there have been few recommendations/ requests for new grenades, so i thought i would make a thread for it. in any case, my suggestion is the eventual implementation of tear gas or smoke grenades. i think when it detonates, it either makes your screen incredibly blurry, or fills your screen with clouds of grey smoke, within a radius of say 15 to 20 meters, being more effective (more dense smoke) in enclosed areas like buildings.. this would also give a legitimate use to the gas mask, as well as offering another kind of escape weapon for bandit encounters.. 

also, perhaps with the eventual implementation of vehicles, they could put in colored smoke grenades so as to mark an area.

Tear gas seems good as well as the other one mentioned. Tear gas should be in police stations like the sumbachine gun.

Tear gas would be great for throwing into a building to flush someone out.

I bet we see tear gas with the riot gear introduction.. we gonna need some gases to flush dem furkin bandits out that 3rd story building with the locked doors :D

I'm sure smokes will be in due time, CS would be interesting for clearing buildings also if gas mask effects were added would be a nice touch.

Just bumping this thread for discussion as I have recently been thinking about tear gas in particular.

I'm bored of guns and we need more variety of non-lethal weapons, ofcourse then the gas mask would have a function in the game (could add more eg: ones that only cover your nose/mouth)

There are others like rubber rounds an beanbags for shottie... and don't forget smoke

 

Soome quick ideas:

 

Scent-based weapons - induce vomiting  also stays on stays on your clothes unless you change em... maybe lingers in the place it was shot so anyone who goes there later also gets "infected"
Pepper spray - blurry screen, but if you run you become unconsious, due to heavy breathing
Tear gas - very blurry screen
Psychochemical - moving "drunk" screen (not entirely accurate but laughter as in with cannibalism? )
Sleep gas- unconscious (maybe after like 3 mins, so you could possibly find a place to hide)

 

If more than one were to be added it would also be viable to add a launcher

Any thought as to how tear gas can be implemented? Because if its will add some post processing effect, it could be easily abused.

I'm sure smokes will be in due time, CS would be interesting for clearing buildings also if gas mask effects were added would be a nice touch.

An RGD-2 smoke grenade was confirmed in one of the devblogs awhile back, and there's an M83-style smoke grenade canister in the game files, so I'm pretty sure we'll see a smoke grenade at some point.

 

In addition to the grenades we have now (M67, RGD-5, MK84 Flashbang & later RGD-2 & possibly M83) I could see some use in an M7 or M47 CS Gas grenade and AN/M14 Incendiaries, though most of these save the Russian ones would need to spawn at helicopter crashsites. However, with a full complement of explosives you could do some pretty cool and interesting things.
