Coley (DayZ) 1 Posted October 22, 2014 (edited) Hello, i am new to DayZ and have some kind of idea what i am doing, but not enough to enjoy the game. Whenever i see an player, bang i am dead.Also is there any good ways of increasing my fps? Can anyone give me suggestions on what to do to make the game more enjoyable? Most players reside on the coast and often KOS>Hunger and thirst need to be delt with, but it lasts longer than you expect>Look for two story houses, supermarkets and blue medical houses/ hospitals>Follow your nose and if there is a short way and a long way, take the long way. As for the for boring bit, it takes time to build up situational awareness to know what you are actually doing. Thanks Alot-ColeyHey Coley: Welcome to this beautiful game!!....There are so many angles to this game, that being bored is not allowed :P . As many have said here, play with the environment, play with maps, discover crafting abilities and many more!. I have found myself that in order to learn new things, role play is basic...here some ideas:1. Survival toon: Try to survive only hunting or fishing....no canned food allowed!2. Sniper: get yourself geared and go for the kills!....Dressed like one, think like one and die like one!3. Bandit: try to get all your "new" gear from other players.....kill anything that moves!4. Heroe: try to wander around the beaches helping people, killing bandits....and be prepared to die...LOL5. GI Joe Toon: gear up with all the military loot!6. Swag Toon: being at the apocalypse does not mean that you need to run looking bad: pink hats, pink shoes and you are set!...LOL..make the Kardashians blush...7. Civil Toon: only non military loot allowed!..... The list goes on as far as your imagination....but the advice?....don´t get attached to your gear/toon......just enjoy the moment, enjoy the game... And by god shes got bossums the size of pluto! Oh Yes my freind Truely Epic! One could only imagine there family portait looks like....my god! Some of true reality TV greatest legends!
