Characters get wiped after each update

Hi, I just wanted to ask someone why our characters always get wiped after every update?  I mean, thats totally lame. You spend hours and hours, days and days to find perfect things and all that, and in month you gotta start all over again?

If your answer is because people hack, no, I dont hack and I dont want to be ANY interrupted by other players behavior. If your answer is bug abusing, as far as I know in this version you arent able to get cloned or some shit, so you get real loot, not cloned one. If by clearing characters you get less lag, then why dont we delete inactive players?

Characters do not get wiped after every update (except on Experimental), there are wipes now and then on stable in order to give a clean sheet for testing and in this last case in order to remove masses of hacked items from the game. 

 

Anyway even if they did wipe after every update so be it, its a testing phase. There will be more wipes in the future, its all part of the Alpha, but they won't be coming every update.

My friend told me that after every stable update they get they get a character wipe. I bought game recently and it was my first restart.

Is Bohemia working on fixing hacker things?

they don't get wiped after every update. the last wipe was over a month ago.

 

yes they are working on it. But, it's hard with new updates coming out, so new hacks come out. If you think you've run into a hacker record it and send it to the staff.
