CallumMerrill 0 Posted October 8, 2014 Over the past few days I started playing a lot of DayZ again, but my characters keep getting reset (fresh spawn), it's very consistent and occurs almost every time I log out and log back in later or after a server restart. It's pretty much unplayable at the moment due to almost always losing progress after one sitting. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance. SmashT 10907 Posted October 8, 2014 Your character isn't wiped when it fails to load, but it will be overwritten if you remain on the server. If you spawn in fresh, leave immediately and try another server. (unless you died during the 30 second logout) Don't join servers immediately after a restart, it can take a minute for it to connect to the hive. 2 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
lowkey006 0 Posted October 22, 2014 The same thing is happening to me. I dont move or anything try 5 or 6 different servers. Still the same would make all the way to NWAF to die because of a server restart. It has been happening to me for over two weeks know Its very frusterating. zolar12 0 Posted October 27, 2014 yeah in the beginign i tink in the same way....i must whait 1 or 2 minutes to reconect again but the same happens...i star oveerrr again and its so unplayable, i leave immediately when that happen but i still apear as a fresh respawn....its happen me a lot.....
