Building Suggestion list

This is a list of building we would like to see on the map. Keep in mind that a building takes around 3 months to be developed so suggest buildings that can be used in multiple locations.

 

The buildings are ordered based on primary loot spawn.

 

 

 

Residential/Civilian:

Clock Tower:   Clock towers are a common sight in many parts of the world. While allot of buildings can have clocks attached to their exterior, an clock tower is build to specifically house a turret clock and have one or more clock faces on the upper exterior walls.

Fast Food restaurant:  Fast food restaurants are typically part of a restaurants chain, which provisions standardized ingredients and/or partially prepared foods and supplies to each restaurant through controlled supply channels. They are commonly found in the major cities around the globe. The most well known Fast Food chain is McDonald's which is found all around eastern Europe.

Fishing/Hunting Store: An type of shop that sells gear for outside activities like Hunting or fishing. These shops usually sell Survival Backpacks, Wellies, and Wild cooking equipment. But also Fishing Rods or civilian Weapons depending on the type of store.

Museum: A museum is an institution that keeps a collection of artifacts and other objects centered around one theme and makes them available for public viewing through exhibits that may be permanent or temporary. Most large museums are located in major cities throughout the world and more local ones exist in smaller cities, towns and even the countryside.

Primary School/Rural School:  Chernarus seems to be deprived of educational facilities while it is common in most countries for most medium size villages to have at least a little school for both local children and those of neighboring villages. Adding small schools to places like Stary Sobor and Khelm would surely spice up the small towns.

Industrial

Auto Garage: An garage (also known as a automobile repair shop ) is a repair shop where automobiles are repaired and checked by Mechanics and Electricians.

Farms

Mill: A building containing an grinding machine powered by an infinite resource to grind substances such as grains, seeds, etc.

Military

Bunker: A bunker is a defensive military fortification designed to protect people or valued materials from falling bombs or other attacks. Bunkers are  found mostly below ground and its doors must be at least as strong as its walls.

Buildings get added if they can be made with the engine (So no underground structures), they fit the setting, and if they feel distinct from what we already got as buildings.

More buildings will get added along the way.

why a clocktower ? lolz... how about before any of this they actually make the industrial buildings that cant be entered, ENTERABLE... the industrial districts should be an interesting place to be... currently NONE of those giant factory buildings serve any purpose what so ever other than being giant paper weights..

 

The industrial areas are a crucial part of dayz lore if you ask me.. the entire industrial scenario needs to be revamped to be honest

Of course man! Any new building is a good building.. I'm just a strong advocate for industrial buildings. Because they are nice and big, lurking around them late at night would be a rather intense experience if you ask me. Any sound you hear would make you shit your pants :D

Hunting / sporting goods store

 

Let's be honest, there is plenty of signs of hunting on the Chernarus+ map.  There's bound to be some hunting supply stores around somewhere.  Maybe a hunting / fishing /sporting store.

 

 

Gas station + convenience store. 

 

I don't know about Europe, but it's rather rare to see gas stations not have convenience stores here in the states.

Added all besides the abandoned houses and the convenience store because there are already a few of those on the map. (in Kumyra and on the most south west gas station respectively.)

Not really a building but what about train/road tunnels. They could act as a shortcut but you would really need to bring lighting.

I love the idea of tunnels but I thought the enigine wasn't able to have underground structures. (The reason I added the bunker is because multiple people asked)
