Looking for Nameless Savior!

I need the help of the Forum on this one. The other day I was playing Dayz and I was looting inside the wrecked ship, Rify (I think?) on the coast when I was shot twice by a sniper and managed to crawl inside. By then I was barely able to see in front of me, when a blurred figure appeared, aiming a rifle at my face. Then, right when I think I am about to die, I hear, "Don't worry kid, I took care of the sniper who was shooting at you" He then patched me up and asked if I needed any food or drink. Before I could mutter the word, he handed me a Pipsi and told me it was endless and to keep it, that he had two. I told him I would return it and he shrugged it off and said he needed to leave. I need to know who this was so that I may thank him under better conditions. He is my savior and I feel I cannot get this off my chest until I do.

Forum, this is your time to shine, I guess spread this story around until, hopefully, ny savior reads it and messages me.

          At least the guy is using a hacked or glitched  item for a good purpose. But a bottomless Pipsi like the one you were given is quite honestly a cheat. I've never even seen a piece of hacked gear and I have over 800 hours in the game. But then again I don't loot the corpses of those that I've  killed. I did hear a hacked M4 magazine in action in Electro once, the guy was spraying endlessly and continuously without pause.

 

More than anything else a hacked item like that can of Pipsi is separating you from the game in that you don't have to find Water, Soda or Kvass to bring your fluid level up hence you don't have to work as hard to survive. That can of Pipsi can keep you energized, hydrated  and safe from un-purified water forever--that's quite a cheat. 

 

 

Note: Since you are using hacked or glitched items and are telling everyone that the guy that helped you is packing and distributing at least one type of hacked or glitched gear don't expect him to step forward.

Yeaaaah... totally glad he helped you, but don't ask for his name here and certainly ditch that glitched unlimited Pipsi. This is a great and also terrible story.

My housemate had a glitched can of drink that never disappeared after drinking for a week or so, I've had it happen to me but I must have dropped it whilst looting other items.

Just because you haven't encountered a glitch don't be so quick to assume everyone is hacking.

^^this, once had a unlimited soda (I think it was even beer - YEAH beer!) and once I had an unlimited red berrie. I found the can in a Svetlo I think and picked the berrie from a bush - the first berrie I ever picked, just to test it. Both items became one use only after relogging.

I found a kiwi the other day that I couldn't pick up, or so I thought. I double clicked on this lil fresh fruit maybe 5 times to pick it up to no avail so I opened my inventory and low and behold I was loaded with fresh kiwi. yes I ate them, no I do not regret it. was it hacked? no. the server was acting very strange and lagging with almost every action altho there were only 6 or 7 of us on the server. I was the only one with a ping less than 100 (30 to 40 if I recall) the rest were from 150 to 300. 

 

a note to the peeps that like to join non-local high ping servers... Thanks for the kiwi!

 

the endless soda is a glitch that was present a couple of months ago maybe longer so its likely a unicorn ala mosin with bipod. the pending wipe will take care of all that remain I am sure.

Don't worry, before I even posted this thread my Holy Soda Pop was stolen off of me. Apparently it was no secret that I was harboring it in by backpack and when I was holding someone hostage(poor guy didn't deserve what came next) another player came up and shot me with a shotgun and told me he was taking the soda. All I could do is listen to what he was doing to the other player(who was Portugese and was using Google Translator to talk to me). I heard my killer yelling at him and the hostage was practically crying through the MIC. Then I heard his player throwing up violently. It was too much, but apparently the hostage's friends came up with assault rifles and turned the tables. I heard lots of yelling and then some gun shots before I respawned. The whole thing was one big mess.

Tip: If someone gives you an Endless Pipsi, reject that junk, because he might end up telling other that you have it.
