marlboro6190 0 Posted August 10, 2014 Hey guys i have here some questions.i bought 1 day ago a laptop with these specs:I7 4510u 2.0ghz up to 3.1 ghz with turbo boost technologyamd radeon m260 2gb8gb ram1tb and in medium setting the game has very low fps :\ my friend has a poor pc and he runs it with 30/35 fps.please somebody can tell me wtf i run it with maybe 10/15 fps??i already changed some setting in .cfg file. MadWookie 573 Posted August 10, 2014 If you think Stand Alone lags go play the mod, then you can complain. :P Seriously though, make sure you don't have anything running in the background such as skype, or a web browser. Also, open task manager and check to see how much of your CPU Usage before you launch your game it shouldn't be over ~15-20% with nothing but windows running and a few minor background programs running. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
marlboro6190 0 Posted August 10, 2014 (edited) I have just skype running but if i turn off i get the same piece of shit.I play bf3 on ultra settings with 40+ fps rarely drops to 30 and i have a lot of shit opened, and when go play dayz standalone i get 10/15 fps :o.In my old pc specs: amd athlotn 3800+ x2 2.0ghz ati radeon 4350 series 512mb 3gb ram i get 20 fps big cities 25+ in the another places all on medium setings...AH YES and i played dayz mod in my old pc and i get -10 fps in big cities and another places i get around 20 ;D. dont tryed yet in my new laptop. Halven (DayZ) 11 Posted August 10, 2014 It's an alpha, it isn't optimized, runs on a shitty engine, still only supports dx9 and can only use 1 of your processors cores.With other words, your computer can be a real beast but in DayZ you will still have a shitty fps in citys and villages.
