[Experimental 0.44] Zombies are fixed?

Devs have said that the melee taking so long to kill zeds is a bug and won't make it to stable.

 

I disagree with being able to ankle-chop a zed once and get a instakill though.

Good, because the state the zeds are in right now isn't desirable.

 

The idea is to have a lot of zeds, hordes, etc. You can't have zeds tough like that in numbers and have the melee system the way it is and expect folks to enjoy the experience.

Disagree. With a Pristine Fire Axe I can still take out zombies quite easily when I aim for their heads. The only problem right now is that melee weapon damage seems to be directly related to item status and Worn/Damaged/Badly Damaged weapons are too weak because of this. Zombies need to stay this difficult. They should only die quickly to head hits.

To me, it's fine and dandy if they are going to be that picky about having to have a headshot on the zombies (although 1 headshot with axe should kill them) but if they are to remain that way, it would be nice if you could chop of limbs and make them immobile or less of an overpowered threat.
