Ugly (DayZ)

No (first-party) way to show my frames per second?

Recommended Posts

1) I do not want to install third party software

2) I want to use the game (DayzSA) to do this for me

Is there a function, for example in the developer console or before start up, that I can use to see my FPS and other stats (ping, etc.), similar the netstat_1 I use on TF2?

Any suggetions of "FRAPS... etc" will be ignored, as they break rule #1 of my question.

Thank you in advance for not de-railing this conversation.

I do not want to get into of a discussion, just a simple No or Yes, with the method.

:)

There is no command to see fps yet.  May never be one.

@ OP.  I'm not sure what your reasoning against third party software is but that is the most stupid reason I have read for not wanting to use it.

Try radeon Pro,

MSI Afterburner

Oh, those are third party too.  Well shit, better remove your video card and uninstall your video drivers and just stick with the one windows gives you for your onboard

As far as I know there is no way whatsoever to view your FPS in DayZ without third-party software.

Why don't you want to use third-party software OP? Fraps and MSI Afterburner won't get you banned or anything.

There is no way of doing that ingame (currently as far as I am aware anyway). Though it might come at some point, as I am pretty sure ARMA 3 has it.

Thread closed as per Ugly's request.
