HFBServers Control Panel "No Records to Display"?

Hey guys, I've had my server with HFB for about a week and for almost 3 days I can't use my Control Panel. I sent in a support ticket explaining what's going on and all the information they need in a very polite and calm manner. This was 2 days ago. At first I was fine with it and knew they would get on it, but I haven't got a reply yet so I decided to send them another one closing the previous around 5 and a half hours ago. Now I'm starting to get upset considering on the problems that I'm having without it. 

 

Does anyone have this issue also or is it just me? Because they are not telling me anything or saying if anything is wrong.

 

I don't want to hear any hate-comments or slander on HFBServers. Their performance is excellent. The only flaw is their poor support. So please save your explicit opinions.

I was with HFB running the mod for quite some time and as you say the server performance was very decent but as far as support, it was very lack lustre. Support from HFB towards the end of the time I was with them got progressively worse as well.

 

I would suggest that you don't delete/close a previous ticket because opening a new one will only put you back at the end of the queue. I also would suggest start posting on their Twitter in a reasonable fashion, I have gotten tickets taken care of this way in the past. Other than these suggestions you play the waiting game, unfortunately.

What do you mean by you cant use your CP. Be more specific, whats the problem with it. Details, Details...

I was with HFB running the mod for quite some time and as you say the server performance was very decent but as far as support, it was very lack lustre. Support from HFB towards the end of the time I was with them got progressively worse as well.

 

I would suggest that you don't delete/close a previous ticket because opening a new one will only put you back at the end of the queue. I also would suggest start posting on their Twitter in a reasonable fashion, I have gotten tickets taken care of this way in the past. Other than these suggestions you play the waiting game, unfortunately.

I'll try this thank you for the assist. And I've been reasonable with both tickets. I think part of the reason that they're so slow with support is because people are so hostile towards them and they probably get tired of dealing with them.

However, my problem is that once you click "Game Services" it displays a table of what Game Services I would have, but it just lists "No Records to Display" meaning that the Control Panel Service isn't active I suppose, which I could use it just fine a few days ago.

 

 

Also it's 1 A.M. now and I'm going to hit the hay. So, it should take me a while to respond. I thank you both for your time and anyone else in advanced.

I had this problem with vilayer about two weeks ago. It fixed itself though.

Alright, they sent me a new server with a new IP and everything. The only thing they didn't send was database details. Will they send this stuff or is it still connected to my old server? My old one is still up as well.

 

EDIT: Never mind I was looking through some config files and it said in the HiveExt.ini what my database login and such is. It's the same. I'm assuming I'll have to wipe it though for a fresh start?

I've held my server with HFB for over a year and a half.  Been through dozens of tickets, IP changes, DDoS attacks, basically all of the trials and tribulations of running a game server.  HFB isn't unlike other GSP's, in that you're asking for support from people who are most likely glorified volunteers.  It's not a business where they can pay three shifts worth of tech-support folks to sit around replying to tickets--so you're likely going to have a couple people check in on tickets in their evenings/off time.  It's a slow process.  Sadly.

 

Resolutions tend to take a couple days, depending on the issues.  I agree, the initial reply could certainly come through faster--and that is what frustrates clients the most.  The worst thing you can do for yourself is to close your ticket and start over.  The ticket system will shuffle you to the end of the line, and you're essentially starting over.  If there were 25 calls ahead of you, and you make it to be only a few away from being answered--then you cancel and start over...well you get the point. 

 

You seem like a calm and patient guy, and that's going to work out well for you.  No one wants to respond to a ticket that's full of flaming and threatening messages.  The person reading and responding to your ticket isn't the cause of your problem, just there to try and help if they can.

 

Keep doing what you're doing, and remember once your ticket is submitted just leave it alone.  Updating it constantly or creating new tickets will not better your position in line!

Thank you for clearing this up. I think many more should understand this. No one wants to help someone that's trying to bring them down.

       i have a problem to i just bought a server yesterday and im on a laptop running my dayz server.  ive never had a problem running dayz on here but i go on my HFBsevers.com and when i go to my control panel and click my game cp it goes to a yahoo page saying it not found or i typed it wrong. i know i didnt type it wrong because it was clicked off the website and i just dont know why it is doing this. but before i bought my server it never happened. i sent in a ticket they responded like 20 minutes later but didnt explain what could have been wrong. after  sent a ticket i went on my desktop and tried and it worked, so i signed in and was doing everything but i tried launching my dayz off the desktop and my dayz wasnt working so im just so confused now. hope you could help me with this
