Error creating Direct 3d 9 graphical engine

so basicly i just downloaded game for frist time i tried to launch it but i get  : Error creating Direct3D 9 graphical engine.

 

 

i checked on systemrequirments for game and it said my computer can suport it to medium settings.

any one know how to fix this?

Start by posting all your specs, including windows version.
 

 

You can download HWiNFO to get quick "complete" look of your pc hardware mate, if you want.

I just want to clarify, this is for the mod for Arma II right?

You posted in the mod section, but your post isnt very clear :)

well actuly i bough game on steam for 23,99 i dont even know what the hell is going on with mod/ game stuff like what is game and what is mod

If its giving you issues mate, you can always try out speccy :)

But yeh, all specs are needed tbh, its impossible to give you an accurate answer atm.

Ok, have you tryed installing the latest driver for your graphics card?

Try updating your DirectX aswell mate.

 

EDIT:

Just noticed your graphics card is below the minimum requirements, if im not mistaken

 

Minimum:

Nvidia Geforce 8600GT or ATI Radeon 3650 or faster with Shader Model 3 and 512 MB VRAM

 

Yours:

256MB ATI Radeon X1650

Its very important to have the correct software installed, if you want your PC to run well :)

But read my edit, in the post above mate, think you missed it.

Naah, you are gonna have to upgrade to a new card soon anyway, if you want to play anything tbh :)

You can get decend cards to a very fair price nowadays.

Tbh im not sure, but you can always install the newest driver and try to update your DirectX, like i suggested.

I cant think of much else to do :/
