XSGamers is proud to present our latest Hardcore server for DayZ


 

Some features to help you decide to drop by;

• No Admin Abuse - Period
• No XSG member will combat log - We fight to the bitter end
• Server is based in the EU (Netherlands) but we're a UK/EU community so it's central to most
• Server follows BI recommended rules
• Regular auto-restarts to spawn loot - With warnings
• Act threateningly & we will defend ourselves, be an ass and expect the consequences
• No 3rd Person view - It's 1st Person all the way!

We're a friendly bunch at XSGamers and welcome players of any experience and level to come play on any of our servers and if you need advice then don't hesitate to ask.

Our community is UK/EU based mostly and we're running the server from Amsterdam with FragNet.

Well we just crept into the Top 100 Gametracker servers and appreciate every visitor that graces the server.

We're hopefully going to have more features coming soon once we have BattlEye Extended Controls working.

We welcome solo and clans as everyone will be either helped or shot on sight (depends where you are on the map and if you act hostile) :D

Some great little battles developed tonight around NE airfield, even with a few combat loggers (man up and fight to the death!) :D

Server is creeping up the ranking (71 atm) and we now have Battleye Extended Controls up and running ;)

How would you say your server is for solo players? Solo players that are harcore noobs actually. I've decided to give hardcore a try cause it just seems more immersive and I've heard that the community is more mature and friendly. Checked out a couple of servers yesterday and today, and can't really tell the difference. I've been killed alot by the zombies, which is ok cause I'm still getting used to the camera and the view, but I've made no player interaction at all. People just shoot me or run along like I don't exist (needles to say, I've only had one single weapon so far since going harcore, and that was a badly damaged shovel)

 

Edit: Guess it's all the same, since I've just been killed by a camper in Berezino hospital. At least it took him 10 shots to finally hit a still target, since i tried to type into chat.

No matter what server you are on, you will always get bandits and griefers, but PvP is at the heart of the game.

 

In spawn areas, we won't attack any new players and by "we" I mean members of XSGamers but the same can't be said about others.Plus if a new spawn is lucky then we'll give them some supplies to help them out. The flip side is that we've had a fair few new spawns, who with nothing to lose, just go total Banzai! on you in the vain hope they can get a lucky shot and steal a weapon off you.

 

So from a clan point of view you'll be safe around an XSGamer member, but the 30 other players I can't say what they will do.

 

In contested areas and I mean places like the airfields and military bases then it's shoot first ask questions later as it's too hostile around there to take the chance of talking first :D

Finally we have Battleye Extended Commands working to provide player info about restarts and website info.

Warnings are issued prior to any restarts.

Currently ranking #26 on GameTracker which is great for a Hardcore server.

 

Most people seem to stick to the manby-pamby regular ones with their (almost a wallhack) 3rd person view ;)

And we're into the Top 20 on Gametracker which is pretty amazing for a hardcore server & we dont restart every hour just to get server hoppers in ;)

Still one of the highest ranked Hardcore (1st Person) Top 20 servers in the world.

 

Regularly full, even after the crappy crashes that 0.49 patch added.  >:(

Unfortunately we're having to close the server on 2nd April 2015.

 

We've had the server for nearly a year and appreciate all the players that like to visit the server and call it home. There's been some great sessions on there and we hope the guests have enjoyed it too. But alas all good things must come to an end and due to increasing costs it's not been possible to carry on with the server.

 

Still be on the look out for the [XSG] tag in another server near you.
