BattlEye server filters for DayzMod 1.8.0.3 Info

Recommended Posts

Could we have a responce regarding this plz.

IMPORTANT: Server admins now have to convert their BE filter files to a new regex-compatible format and put "//new" into the files' first line. Details: http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?167504-Regular-Expression-%28Regex%29-Support-for-BE-Filters

The link to those filters are out of date.

All filters are coming back incompatible with the new battleye

Putting as it says "//new" at the start of the filters as Battleye suggests kicks all players out of the server.

The filters need there for updating as all Public Mod servers are currently unprotected till they are updated.

This message as quoted on the RCon is the question.

But how do we do this if everyone is being kicked if we add "//new" to all the filters as suggested.

Ah, right. Only just saw the message popping up in the dedi server console as well.

I haven't been using BE-filters for a long time now, as most antihacks are working and that's the best way to protect your server anyway. It's less work on filters and you can actually od something on your server (i.e. spectate to make sure all is well)

I strongly suggest looking into an antihack instead of using BE-Filters.

Any suggestions on a antihack for the public servers, I didn't know there was one.

Well at least till they get the filters sorted. :)

There are a few that are for free, but they're obviously not the best. If you have the money you can spend it on this:
