Bandannas as facemask

Hey, i dunno if this has been brought up already, 

 

but can bandannas be set as both a facemask and headgear? at the moment when i find them the only option seems to be as a hat, and i don't want a new hat.

 

in addition, in an apocalypse situation i'd be using a bandanna as sun protection/warmth and as a makeshift mask when entering buildings to protect against possible bad air quality in an abandoned building.

 

so yeah, that's my 10 cents, i figured simple as it may be, it's a nice change from the monotony of KOS and server hopping threads, let me know what you think.

You already can, split into rags.

 

Bandanna use suggestions:

'Hat' (current use)

Bandage (current use as well)

Mask (OP's suggestion) Both as a makeshift environment protection as well as Identity protection (bandit mask)

Armband (mine and other's suggestions) Form of Identification for groups.  Possibly add in a sewing kit to customize armbands further for clans (logos and such).

Temperature control/neckband; people dip a bandanna in water, fold it over a few times and wrap it around their neck to cool their body.

Blindfold; gives players a black screen, burlap sacks will do this soon

Gag; muffles/blocks player from chatting (voice and text)

could be part of a special response or riot uniform, for when they add in police stations. 

 

would be yay, but you can keep that and i'll keep my bandanna.

thought i'd bump this instead of making a new topic, every patch i get excited because maybe the devs put facemask bandanas in as a surprize, every patch i'm dissapointed :(. 

 

More facemasks would be great in the finished game, and with everyone looking more of less the same in the alpha something to cover up that flaw would be brilliant. 

 

Although rather than more payday masks or the like, I'd prefer more realistic methods of face concealment, and to be honest i would have thought bandanas as facemask made more sense than as a hat.

This for sure. The burlap sack doesn't blind you at the moment, so you can wear it on your head and see. But eye holes would be realistic and hopefully the sack will work correctly at some point.
