Where are all the devblogs?

Recommended Posts

Most of us want the "network bubble" fully functional, or as close as it can get, before release.

Network bubble is a required element before an alpha candidate will pass it's milestone.

Ah, I see, welcome to my world then, there's only one winner when it comes to arguing on the internet and that's your ISP.

Doesn't really matter now.  College is about to start.  Only people who are going to play this all day everyday is the freaking high school kids.  How I wish to be younger.

Really looking forward to reading/watching the devblog! I'm most excited to see what changed since E3 and how close they are to release. Hopefully they show in detail all the weapons they have as well!

Will we be able to carry this "network bubble" in our backpacks, or possibly shoot it with the crossbow to make it explode, now that objects are vehicles? also can I ride my hatchet now that objects are vehicles?

thx for the response,

That's what me most of the players that I've spoken with think as well. We appreciate that you're building such ground breaking features into the engine, thus building a solid foundation that can be improved upon instead of letting impatient fans/Publishers push a release date.

One of the key reasons is performance. Without it, we can't populate the world well enough with things like zombies and loot. The more zombies we can add, the more "authentic" we can make their speeds. So no bubble == no alpha.

We are just as, if not more, excited about the "security" aspect that a network/client bubble can provide.

Oh and a BIG THANK YOU that you guys are working on that functionality! :)

With Organic Chem this Fall, and 2 bio with 1 phys this Spring for me, I simply don't see life in the future.  I just see formulas, benzene rings, and more functional groups than I care to think about.

I apologized for confusing language associated with that and committed to not doing that in the future. Which is really what this whole topic is for.

You also talked about mile stone. Would you mention in the devblog what is it? And where is it? Is it the one between Cherno and Elektro? And why is it important for the release? ;)

Erm, the milestone will be what we're reviewing in the devblog. Which is what this whole post is about.

So, Dean. You said at E3 (and ill find the link for this) that you would have the alpha out in 2 months.

Does this still stand?

I can't remember that? Sounds like typical journalists twisting words to get hits.

I think his post was sarcasm aimed at your quote and the fact you mentioned "confusing language". If not lol
