Random Kicks from Server

Recommended Posts

Hey folks, brand new bambi here. Recently I picked up Arma II and its sidekick on Steam to play DayZ, and I spend a good while fiddling with all the install bits.

I've had some good play sessions to figure things out, but something is throwing a wrench in my game - I keep on getting kicked from servers. There's no difference between them, whether public or private. It just randomly boots me whether in intervals of 5 minutes or 50, and I've got a good ping and try to join low ping servers.

Here's what's up to date and been done:

1. Running the latest Arma build 102285 version

2. Running DayZ 1.7.6.1

3. Updated BattlEye to the most recent version, both client and server to make sure.

Any advice? Because I'd like to figure this out, and I'm not sure what is causing it. Thanks.

I usually randomly get kicked from servers. My friend I play with always tells me it's for some file missing, or something in my OA folder but I have all of the needed files. Most of the time I can join back and after a few kicks I am able to play in peace, but there are some servers out there that kick me for everything possible. I'm not sure why it does this, or how to fix it. I have been playing with it like this for almost a year now.

I've been playing DayZ a good while and I used to get these kicks every now and then and like the other guy I just used to retry.

Last game properly was last night without problems, now I am having a nightmare!

I noticed when I booted PC up this afternoon there was a steam update. Get around to playing earlier and just keep getting kicked for random PBO/mission files/trees it could be anything it's as though it can't be arsed finding out what the fault is so makes something up lol.

Win7 64 pro

steam versions of: Arma2, Arma3 alpha, Arma2:OA, (and beta) and Private military company DLC.

tried upgrading to steam client beta to see if that helps but it doesn't.

I tried this, but it still doesn't help. I've had some long server runs for about a couple hours without issue, and with Steam running as an administrator, but playing is still a nightmare. Try:

If you are using Steam, your game was automatically updated as part of the Stream update process. It is possible that the update process may have corrupted one or more files. To repair this, do the following.

* Close down steam, and start it as administrator. To do so, find Steam in your start menu, right-click on the shortcut and select Run as Administrator.

* Go to your game library and locate ARMA2. Right-click on the game and select "Properties". Click on the "Local Files" tab. Click on "Verify integrity of game cache". This process may take a bit of time as Steam verifies your game files.

* Once this is done, do the same for ARMA2 Operation Arrowhead.

* Launch ARMA2 and then close/exit the game. This is to ensure that Steam finishes any installation or reconfiguration.

* Launch ARMA2 Operation Arrowhead and close it.

* If you use Six Updater, launch Six Updater and optionally update the mod to the latest version. If you're using other means of launching DayZ, update or launch the mod accordingly.

And see if it helps you. Its not helping me, but it did catch a couple files.

Yeah for me whenever I join a server either its a server i never joined before or one i always play on it keeps saying Global ban #aa00099. Btw it happens on Day Z and Wasteland I don't really play on Arma 2 or Operation Arrowhead really.

You just resurrected a topic that was 8 months old.

I have replied to your other topic, it would be best to keep it in that.

Especially with your inappropriate comment regarding the combatlog-system - which is something custom added in by serveradmins and has nothing to do with DayZ whatsoever. If anything you would have to contact the administrator of the server you're playing on.

Please do not resurrect a topic of such an age (8 months approximately).

Your topic has a reply.
