Ok im sorry for swearing... its just the point that i want to play dayz with some friends of mine... and get banned for no reason.... that feeling just maked me angry, and the feeling that im not related to that ban makes me more crazy :) i cant do nothing about it and i guess it will takes a long time to resolve this....

You have either been busted doing something you shouldn't have, if that is the case then might aswell confess now. I will have no sympathy.

You have attempted to download one of these "public hack" tools and ended up having your key stolen, if that is the case then iwill still have no sympathy.

All my friends play legit and none of them get Global Banned, i play legit and i have never been Global banned..

6:15 - Royboy010 has installed everything

6:18 - Royboy010 logs into DayZ for the first time

6:19 - Royboy010 finds that he is banned

6:21 - Royboy010 comes onto DayZ forums suddenly becomes illiterate, demands that the staff has stolen his money and professes his innocence.

Buddy, this staff has absolutely NO CONTROL over global bans. Not only that, but they can't even tell you what "IP range" that is using the key is. BattlEye can.

WE, being everyone in the DayZ community (including its staff), DO NOT GIVE OUT GLOBAL BANS.

BATTLEYE IS WHO BANNED YOU.

Secondly, it doesn't matter who's playing on your account. They used hacks on it, and it's banned. It's your fault for downloading something that took your CD-key, regardless of if you used it or not.

Unless your next post contains something halfway intelligent, don't bother. Odds are it'll be deleted.

Okay, give me one logical explanation as to how someone would get your CD-Key without you downloading anything and I'll accept it.

Otherwise, I'm not going to take your word that you "just dont cheat" when I have literally no reason to believe you and it defies all logic.

Also, I've been in a server when someone's been Global banned. He claimed the guy didn't ever hack. 15 minutes later, the same guy came back on with a new CD-key and said he was banned because he had been using an old hack menu a while ago. An admin doesn't know everything.

Look mate, we don't deal with global bans. There is literally nothing we can do. You have to contact BattlEye support and maybe they can help you.

Srsly, if you want to play with your friends clean install your porn, keylogged, infected PC buy new "Arma 2 OA" CD key from a legitimate source (not a second hand place) and try running the game without hacks and you will be fine.

One thing I can't wrap my head around is why people blame the mod.

This mod makes $0 dollars. When you purchase ArmA 2, that money goes to BI, not DayZ. But yet people still come on this forum and demand that the staff returns their money and that they'll sue the mod. The mod is free. Back when CS came out, I can't recall a single person blaming the dev team of CS for VAC bans or any of this drama. They were banned from steam, not the mod.

For some reason people think that DayZ = BI = BattlEye.

When standalone comes around, I can see why people may be upset. But even then the anti-cheat software will probably be provided by a 3rd party and integrated into standalone and again, DayZ will have no liability when it comes to bans, they'll have to take it up with the 3rd parties database because DayZ will just read the log from the 3rd party when banned people log in.
